These lenses are designed for the MetalFab welding gun and help shield the internal focusing lens from smoke, dust, sparks, spatter, and other debris produced during metalworking.

Because the protection lens is positioned close to the work area, it is a consumable component that should be inspected regularly. xTool recommends checking, cleaning, or replacing the lens after approximately 3–6 days of continuous use, depending on your materials, applications, and working environment.

Keeping clean replacement lenses on hand helps maintain consistent laser performance, reduces interruptions, and protects the more valuable optical components inside the welding head.
