xTool 1080nm Auto-Darkening Laser Welding Helmet
Protect your eyes and face while maintaining a clear view of your work with the xTool 1080nm Auto-Darkening Laser Welding Helmet. Designed for use with the xTool MetalFab Laser Welder and CNC Cutter, this helmet combines wavelength-specific laser protection, automatic darkening and a large true-color viewing area for safer, more comfortable metal fabrication.
The specialized protective lens covers the 1060–1090nm wavelength range and provides an optical density rating of up to OD 8+. Two built-in sensors quickly detect the intense light produced during welding and automatically darken the viewing lens, helping protect the operator from harmful glare while allowing the workpiece to remain visible.
An 8 x 10 cm viewing lens provides a generous field of view, while its 1/1/1/1 optical clarity rating delivers a sharp, true-color image with minimal distortion. Adjustable sensitivity, shade and delay controls allow the helmet to be customized for different applications. Selectable shade ranges of 5–9 and 9–13 support both lower- and higher-power welding operations.
Constructed from durable PP and PC materials, the helmet weighs approximately 1.23 pounds, making it comfortable for extended use. Three adjustment knobs provide a secure, personalized fit, while padded forehead and ear areas help absorb perspiration and reduce slipping. The helmet can also flip upward 180 degrees for convenient inspection of your project between welds.
